This coming July 22 is a big day for Xiaomi and Mi fans. It’s not just because the Redmi Note is making its debut in Malaysia. But it’s the day you will see the next Xiaomi flagship smartphone aka Mi 4 for the first time! The new smartphone will make its appearance in Beijing at Xiaomi’s annual product launch event.
According to the online listing of Mi 4 in Xiaomi World online store, the successor of Mi 3 smartphone shall feature a 2.5Ghz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 3GB of DDR3 RAM and built-in storage size of 32GB. It sports a 5.5-inch 2K quad HD display (2560×1440 pixels) with 538 PPI. Other features include 16MP OIS rear camera, LTE support (finally!) and battery capacity of 3,200 mAh. Mi 4 is expected to run Android 4.4 Kitkat with MIUI v5 overlay.
And how much will it cost? Xiaomi World priced it at $599.99.
