Microsoft has just announced the availability and pricing of its own branded Surface with Windows 8 Pro tablet. Both the Surface Pro and Surface with Windows RT tablets were first unveiled on June this year.

The sibling to Windows RT tablet will go on sale in January 2013, starting at $899 for 64GB model, meanwhile the 128GB model costs $999 to purchase.

Both model of Surface Pro tablets come with an integrated kickstand and a Surface pen with Palm Block technology. There is also a 3mm thin, pressure sensitive cover, called the Touch/Type Cover. The cover, sold separately at $100 apiece, has a fully functioning keyboard and trackpad. Once attached to the tablet, you will get yourself a fully fledged netbook.
