Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) on August 6 announced in a Media Preview Session the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S2, the latest of its premium tablet series. The tablets are available in two sizes – 8-inch and 9.7-inch LTE version.

At just 5.6mm thin and only 392g (9.7”) and 272g (8.0”) weight, the Galaxy Tab S2 is one of the thinnest and lightest tablets on the market. Some of the key features include 2048 x 1536 pixel super AMOLED display, an octo-core processor (four 1.9GHz cores with four 1.3GHz cores), 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage with microSD up to 128GB, LTE connectivity, plus an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2.1-megapixel front camera.
As a tool for reading and productivity, the Galaxy Tab S2 offers several built-in features like Multitasking – allowing users to view and run two apps simultaneously with Pop-Up Window, a new feature that lets users can easily navigate between multiple apps at once. In addition, Adaptive Display intelligently adjusts gamma, saturation, and sharpness based on the application, the color temperature of the viewing environment and ambient lighting. Also, Reading Mode modifies the screen’s brightness level to help users to read content for longer periods of time without straining their eyes.
It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and preloaded with Microsoft Office Solutions with 100GB of OneDrive storage for two years. Buyers also get to enjoy an exclusive 1-year subscription free access to iflix Internet TV service and Samsung Milk Music, a digital radio streaming service designed specifically for Samsung users.

Availability and Pricing
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 LTE will be available in the Malaysian market, starting from 14th August, 2015 in Gold, White and Black colour.
