MSI revs up its Premium Gaming Series Notebooks with WD Black SSHD1 min read

WD and MSI are pleased to announce that the MSI GX60-1AC gaming notebooks will be made available with WD Black Solid State Hybrid Drives (SSHD). The latest 9.5 mm WD Black SSHD will provide hybrid performance to an already-potent gaming system. The MSI GX60-1AC features the AMD Quad-Core A10-Series processor and AMD Radeon HD 7970M Discrete Class Graphics to deliver a realistic gaming experience.

“WD is pleased to be working with MSI to take the gaming experience to another level with the inclusion of WD Black Solid State Hybrid Drives,” said Matt Rutledge, vice president and general manager of client storage products at WD. “Gamers demand high-performance and with the inclusion of WD’s SSHD technology they will be able to achieve a superior gaming experience.”

“Our latest and greatest gaming notebook, the GX60-1AC, is a perfect example of the MSI’s commitment to offering our customers a superior gaming experience,” said Eric Kuo, Global vice president, MSI. “The WD Black SSHD, with the newest SSHD technology, helps our customers achieve new levels of gaming performance.”

Availability

WD Black Solid State Hybrid Drives are shipping now in a variety of form factors and capacities to OEM customers. The GX60-1AC with WD SSHD technology will be available beginning of July worldwide, depending on specific system configuration.
