Microsoft Surface RT is already available in the US, Canada, France, Germany and the UK. Now, Microsoft has rolled out its first ever tablet in 13 additional European markets.
The markets for Surface RT tablet has now expanded to 13 new European countries including Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden, Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The price for the tablet starts from $499 in the US for 32GB model, $599 for 64GB. However, the pricing of the tablets varies country by country.
The tablet can be purchased either from select retailers or from the official Microsoft store, with more details provided on the local versions of the company’s website.
As for the Surface Pro, there’s no word on when the tablet, which first went on sale in the US last Saturday (at price starting from $899), will roll out to international markets. Apparently, the demand for the Surface Pro tablet 128GB model is encouraging (really?) as the model is now listed as “out of stock” in Microsoft online store.
