Microsoft Malaysia has just revealed on its official Facebook page, the pricing for its new Surface 2 tablet. The 32GB model comes with a price tag of RM 1,399 meanwhile it costs RM 1,699 for 64GB variant. Both variants will launch officially in Malaysia on March 14th, which is this coming Friday.
Note that the pricing does not include Type Cover and Touch Cover. You need to fork out extra money to get the accessories.
To recap, the new Surface 2 tablet sports a 10.6-inch full HD screen display and is powered by a 1.7GHz NVIDIA Tegra 4 (T40) quad core processor. It is available in two storage options – 32GB or 64 GB. The memory size stands at 2GB.
Other features include 5MP rear camera, 3.5MP front-facing camera, full size USB 3.0 port, micro HDMI, micro SD card reader, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n). Surface 2 runs Windows RT 8.1 with up to 10 hours worth of battery life.
