If you go through the recently-released ASUS product guide for September-October 2012, you should notice something familiar on page 30 of the product guide.
Guys, it’s the Google Nexus 7 and yes, the tablet is FINALLY on its way to Malaysia this month!
And according to Vodeblog, invites have been issued by Asus Malaysia to selected members of the media to attend the Google Nexus 7 launch event, which is expected to take place on September 21, 2012 at an unknown venue. Furthermore, only the Wi-Fi version will be available to users in Malaysia.
To recap, the Asus-built Nexus 7 tablet features a 7-inch IPS screen display with 1280 x 800 resolution (216 ppi). It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 with a 12-core graphics processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4325-mAh battery that gives you up to 8 hours of battery life. Other features include 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and Android Beam. There is no rear camera and does not support expandable storage.
FYI, Nexus 7 was first unveiled on June this year and made its first shipping on mid-July. Stay tuned for more updates.
