Apple iPhone 5 has yet to reach our shore in Malaysia and no one knows when the smartphone will get here. But not to worry, the Apple fans here are very good at waiting, right? Earlier, we thought the smartphone was to launch here two weeks back, but it didn’t happened. 🙁
Well, let’s forget about Apple-thingy for a while and turns our attention to Apple’s rival – Google’s Android. Yes, we already knew that the search engine giant has launched three Nexus devices in 3 different sizes – 4.7-inch Nexus 4, refreshed Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 tablet.
And guess what, the LG-built Nexus 4 smartphone is on its way to Malaysia and will be here in time for Christmas. The people from LG Malaysia Fan Club confirmed it. Moreover, LG Optimus G will make appearance at the same time too.
To recap, Nexus 4 sports a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus display with 1,280 x 768 resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. In addition to that, Nexus 4 is powered by a 1.5-GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and two choices of internal storage – 8GB ($299 or approx. RM915) or 16GB ($399 or approx. RM1221).
Other notable features include 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP HD front-facing camera, NFC, HSPA+ and wireless charging. Also, Nexus 4 runs the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with latest Google apps.
As for the pricing, expect LG to mark up the retail price for Nexus 4 like how ASUS has priced the Nexus 7 when the tablet arrived here two months back. The most possible price tag for 16GB Nexus 4 should be around RM2k. Lesser is better. 🙂

P.S. : Make your guess, how much will a 16GB Nexus 4 costs in Malaysia?
