After looking at how the Jelly Bean-powered Nexus 7 tablet is compared to other most popular tablets on the market, we now take a look the new cloud-based streaming media player from Google, known as the Nexus Q and see how the ball-sized sphere device compared to other media players for your living room.
The people over PC World has put together a side-by-side comparison chart that compares the Nexus Q to its closest rival, the Apple TV as well as other media players like Xbox 360 Console Arcade, Roku 2 XS and Sonos Connect.
To recap, the Nexus Q is a cloud-based streaming media player that connects to your HDTV or home theater, and stream music, TV shows, movies and videos from Google Play as well as push Youtube videos from your Android device wirelessly to the Nexus Q. However, to get the Nexus Q working, you need an Android phone or tablet (running Android 2.3 and over) to act as a remote.
Nexus Q is priced at $299 and start to ship in mid July.
