Acer Malaysia has announced the availability of its 8-inch Windows 8.1 tablet – the Acer Iconia W4. The tablet is now on sale in Malaysia at major authorised acer resellers for RM 1,099, just in time for Christmas. 🙂
As for the specs sheet, Iconia W4 features an 8-inch LED-lit IPS screen display with a 1280 x 800 resolution and viewing angles up to 170 degrees. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z3740 Bay Trail quad-core processor. It has 2GB of RAM and built-in storage space of 32GB. The storage is expandable via microSD card.
The Windows 8.1 tablet sports a 5MP rear camera and 2MP camera on its front. Other features include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth, built-in microphone, a micro-HDMI port and a micro-USB port. It has a battery capacity of 4,960 mAh, giving you up to 8 hours of battery life.
