Facebook has just rolled out its newest features and improvements for iOS users. The updated Facebook app for iPhone and iPad comes with brand new ways to chat and offers a cleaner look for News Feed. Read on for more details.
Following the release of Facebook Home app on Google Play Store last week, the social network giant has brought one of the most exciting features from the app to iOS version of Facebook. It’s called the Chat Heads and the feature enables you to jump in a conversation from anywhere in the Facebook app. The chat heads come in the form of small circles with your friends’ profile pics inside. For iOS users, the feature is limited within the Facebook app, whereas on Android, the chat heads are available anywhere on your device, even when you’re running other apps.
In addition to that, for iPhone (and iPod touch) users, you can send stickers in your messages and explore additional news feeds like Music, Photos and Games. Meanwhile on iPad, the stories in the app are now brighter and more beautiful.
Keep in mind that chat heads and stickers will roll out to users by stages and will be available to everyone over the next few weeks. If you don’t see the new features right after applying the latest update, don’t worry, you just have to wait a little longer. 🙂
