Google Analytics, a free service used by many website owners or bloggers (we use this service too) to track and analyse detailed statistics of websites, has now gone mobile. The Google Analytics app is available for Android users and can be downloaded for free from Google Play Store. Now, your site’s traffic data is at your fingertips!
Google Analytics app for Android enables you to access the same accounts and profiles that you usually see when you open the Analytics service from a desktop browser. The different is, you will see reports that are optimized for your Android devices.
Within the app, there are four sections that you can look at – Real-Time, Dashboard, Automatic Alerts and Custom Alerts.
In Real-Time section (shown in the left screenshot below), you can see the number of active visitors on your website as well as a list of the top pages that your visitors are currently reading.
Meanwhile, the Dashboard section (right screenshot above) is where you can monitor the KPIs and user metrics. The Daily Unique Visitors and your Goal Conversion Rate are shown by default. You can customize the dashboard to change which reports, metrics, or segments you see. Simply tap the menu > Add a new chart.
Last but not least, the Automatic and Customized Alerts feature will detect statistical anomalies in your data and can send you an alert when something unusual happens. Simply view either automatic alerts, or customize your settings to send alerts based on your own benchmarks.
