Spotify now Free on Android and iOS

The popular Spotify music streaming app is now free on both Android and iOS. Yes, this means that you can get access to millions of songs across your mobile devices without the need to subscribe to the service. Of course, if you become a premium subscriber, you get extra features. Now, let’s see what kind of free Spotify experience you can get.

In the free version, users are introduced with the shuffle play feature. You won’t get to play any song on-demand, but you can play any playlist or artists’ catalogue in shuffle mode. The playlists can be the one you’ve created or playlists from the people you follow.

In addition to that, Spotify has also launched the service to 20 new markets. With the newly added markets, Spotify is now available 55 markets worldwide. Note that you can get access to the music streaming service if you live in one of the countries.

Spotify is available for free on mobile devices and tablets running Android and iOS. Note that the app is ad-supported. While shuffle playing, you will listen to ads in between. If you demand more features like ad-free songs, play songs on-demand, enjoy highest quality audio plus the ability to download music and listen offline, you might want to upgrade to Spotify Premium for a fee.
