Sometime not everything that we’ve been expected turn out to be true. Take the iPhone, we’ve been hoping for iPhone 5 this year, but turned out, Apple only unveiled an improved version of iPhone 4, called the iPhone 4S.
iPhone 4S has similar design as its predecessor and comes with several enhancements like a dual-core A5 chip, an 8-megapixel camera, 1080p video recording functionality, new antenna design with a dual-mode GSM and CMDA radio, new iOS 5 software and last but not least, the new Siri intelligent assistant.
Now, are we missing something here? How much is RAM does iPhone 4S has? Hopefully iPhone 4S get at least 1GB of memory. But there are claims that iPhone 4S will get only 512 MB of RAM.
According to Macrumors, judging from the reports that they heard from Infinity Blade developer and the website Appvv, iPhone 4S will not see an upgrade in RAM and is still capped at 512MB, like the iPhone 4.
The Infinity Blade developer first suggested that the iPhone 4S still had 512MB of RAM, just like the iPhone 4:
“I’m still shocked that, with the iPhone 4S, I’m literally running around with a 1080p video camera in my pocket, with an eight megapixel camera, 64GB of hard drive space and an A5 chip with 512MB of memory. This is a really powerful computer, right?”
AppVV also supported the claim, citing a forum administrator as saying the same thing on the capacity of RAM packed in iPhone 4S.
