It’s not surprising to see price cuts on all current models of the iPad 2, as the new iPad has made its debut earlier today in San Francisco. In Malaysia, Apple has slashed the pricing of iPad 2 by RM300 ($100) for all models including Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G models.
After the price reduction, the iPad 2 is now selling at price ranging from RM 1,199 to RM 2,199 (previously RM 1,499 to RM 2,499).

- Wi-Fi 32GB – RM 1,499
- Wi-Fi 64GB – RM 1,799
- Wi-Fi + 3G 16GB – RM 1,599
- Wi-Fi + 3G 32GB – RM 1,899
- Wi-Fi + 3G 64GB – RM 2,199
At the time of writing, there is no official word on the availability of the new iPad in Malaysia. Meanwhile, on the pricing, we expect the new iPad to cost the same as the iPad 2 (before the price reduction).
