Yes, at last Android and iPhone users can download the Blackberry Messenger or BBM on their devices. The now cross-platform messaging app has hit the Google Play and App Store on September 21, but has been halted by Blackberry shortly after the release due to leaked version of Android app prior to the launch.
The first public version of BBM for Android and iPhone comes with several basic features normally found in any messaging app. You can exchange messages in real time, share things like photos, files, documents and voice notes. BBM Group lets you engage multi-person chats with up to 30 people. With Broadcast Message, you can send a message out to all your BBM contacts at once. Every user has a unique BB Pin. Friends can be added to your contact using the pin which is more private.
On top of that, BBM lets you post a personal message, profile picture and your current status, and lets your contacts know instantly in Updates. Upcoming version will feature BBM Video calling and BBM Voice calling.

Interested users can visit BBM.com from their iPhone or Android device to download BBM or get the app directly from Google Play or App Store. BBM for Android is compatible with devices running Ice Cream Sandwich and Jelly Bean, while the iPhone version is available for devices running iOS 6 and the newly-launched iOS 7.
