Apple to Live Stream iPad Mini Event on Safari browser and Apple TV1 min read

iPad Mini Event - Live Stream on Apple TV or Safari

The iPad Mini event is taking place in less than three hours from now. The event will kick off at 10 a.m. PDT in San Jose’s California Theatre. For local time (in Malaysia), that’s 1 a.m. the following day on October 24.

Normally, we follow live blogs to get the first hand details from the previous Apple events. Engadget is our favorite, you can follow their liveblog on iPad mini event here. Besides liveblog, guess what, you can watch live video streaming of iPad Mini event too!

iPad Mini Event - Live Stream on Apple TV or Safari

Thanks to Apple, they will live stream the event online via its Safari browser and Apple TV.

You can watch live streaming video on the web from your Mac OS X (v10.6 or later) or from your iDevice – iPhone or iPad running iOS 4.2 or later. Make sure you fire up Safari browser to watch, not other browsers. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

In the iPad Mini event, we expect the iPad Mini to sport a 7.85-inch liquid crystal screen display, a lightning connector (replaces the 30-pin connector) and should be thinner than the New iPad. Also in the event, we shall see Apple unveils its 13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina Display alongside a refreshed Mac mini.
