Apple is preparing itself for the major launch event of the new iOS 5 as well as the iPhone 5 next month, as Apple is silently denying requests for employee vacations during the second week of October, according to AppleInsider.
AppleInsider has reported that the iPhone maker has blacked out vacation time for employees from October 9 to 12 and October 14 to 15, hinting that the company is anticipating an influx of iPhone customers to its store in the second week of October.
The people at AppleInsider also predicted that the new iOS 5 to be available to existing iOS device owners on October 10. Because on the same day, the AppleCare division will be expecting an influx of iOS-related inquiries from customers. As for the iPhone 5 launch date, the fifth generation of Apple smartphone will most probably announced by Friday, October 14.
On top of that, we expect the official announcement of iOS 5 to take place on October 4, follows by the release of iOS 5 to existing iOS device owners on October 10 and finally the availability of the next generation iPhone smartphone beginning October 14. Let’s hope that the dates turn out to be true. Fingers crossed! 🙂
