Whatsapp Messenger for Android gets a new feature! The cross-platform mobile messaging app, now carries version 2.11.19, features a new push-to-talk voice messaging to its users. And talking about its user base, Whatsapp now has more than 300 million active users. One of its rivals WeChat has 70 million users.
Voice messaging enables Whatsapp user to record their message and instantly push it to a contact or group chat. To start recording, simply tap and hold on the Microphone button. The voice message will automatically send to your contact once the button is released. To cancel your voice message, simply slide left while recording. Easy enough, right?

The latest version of Whatsapp Messenger for Android is now available for download from Whatsapp’s official website. It will take awhile to hit Google Play Store. The new feature will make it to all other platforms including iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and Nokia.
