With a bunch of Google’s Android Event-related details already leaked on the web ahead of the event on Monday, October 29, you can most probably figure out what’s to see from the Android Event.
Google will most likely to unveil the latest version of its Android OS, dubbed Android 4.2 Jelly Bean alongside with a new lineup of its Nexus products. Well, let’s us go through the list, shall we?
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
It’s certain that Google will unveil the latest update to its Android mobile OS. The newest version will be known as Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
In Android 4.2, there will be a brand new Gmail, a quick settings panel, a revised gallery application and multiple accounts for tablets.
Nexus 4
LG-made Nexus 4 is the fourth smartphone to carry the Nexus brand. LG has confirmed the debut of Nexus 4 at Android Event.
On the spec sheet, Nexus 4 shall features a 4.7-inch LCD screen display with 1280 x 768 resolution and is powered by a 1.5-GHz Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor.
Other features include an 8 MP rear camera, NFC and runs the upcoming Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Also, it has 9.1mm thickness and comes with 8GB of internal memory.
Nexus 7 3G plus 32GB storage
The Nexus 7 tablet has been a success since making its debut on June 27 at Google I/O 2012, although the tablet hasn’t reach many countries. The tablet reached Malaysia last month on September 21.
If the rumors are true, we can expect Google to unveil a larger storage capacity of the Nexus 7. The 8GB version may be discontinued to welcome the 32GB model. Also, the Nexus 7 with 3G capability may comes into light in the Android Event.
Nexus 10
We’ve seen the leaked images and manual of Samsung-built Nexus 10, Google’s first venture into a 10-inch tablet.
The 10-inch slate device is reportedly to sport a Cortex-A15-based 1.7GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 dual core processor, a Mali-T604 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (though no microSD expansion slot), a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera, NFC / WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and a Super AMOLED panel with 2,560 x 1,600 screen resolution.
Nexus 10 has an awesome Retina display and could set itself as a potential competitor to iPad 9.7-inch tablet.
