Speaktoit Virtual Assistant for Android

There are bunch of third-party intelligent voice recognition service for Android devices. Of all, Speaktoit assistant app is one of the most popular with over 5 million users while retaining the highest user rating of any virtual assistant app on Android’s Google Play. Recently, Speaktoit has received a new update in which the update brings interface redesign and several new features. Read on for details.

Among the new enhancements include the Daily Briefing feature. To set up the feature (requires one time set up), simply speak “daily briefing” to the app and it will automatically gives you an efficient, customizable report each morning on what’s important to you. This include the weather forecast, horoscope, your agenda, tasks, top news stories and more.

In addition to that, there is a new “Ask Your Facebook Friends” feature. The Speaktoit Assistant isn’t limited by internet data anymore. Now you can access your friends’ knowledge for suggestions or answers to your questions and get notified when they have input. This feature is unique to Speaktoit.

Other features include key integration that go beyond Google Search. Besides Google Search, Facebook and Twitter, Speaktoit now has similar integrations with TripAdvisor, Evernote, ChaCha, Wikipedia, Bing Translator and Yelp. For example, if you say “Yelp Thai restaurant,” your assistant will give you a list of Thai restaurants nearby with their Yelp ratings. Also, you can speak to Speaktoit Assistant handsfree as the app now supports Bluetooth.
