Keeping your Android phone’s Wi-fi connection ON even when you are not connected to any wireless network or there is no network available nearby is not a good idea because it can quickly drains your phone’s battery life. To improve the battery life, most of us will enable the Wi-fi connection only when we really need to use the Internet.

Wi-Fi Automatic is a free application for Android, that is designed to automatically enables or disables your Wi-fi connection when your Android phone is connected to or disconnected from the charger. It will save you the hassle of turning the Wi-fi on or off upon charger connection or disconnection.
The interface is straightforward with only two buttons available.
First of all, you need to configure the settings. Simply tap the button at the bottom to take you there. From the settings page, you need to check the first and second options. The third option is now unlocked.
Tapping on the third option lets you choose one of the three additional options that you can choose on charger disconnection :
- Switch off Wi-Fi immediately after charger disconnection
- Delay for 30 seconds and display option to keep Wi-Fi enabled
- Return Wi-Fi to the state how it was before charger connection.
Once done, get back to the main interface of the application, then tap the button at the top to enable the charger monitoring service. Now, the application will monitor for charger connection or disconnection at the background.
