The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition was announced on 4 September 2013 at IFA 2013 in Berlin, alongside with Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear. The WiFi only version of the tablet is already on sale in the US, starting at $549.99 for the 16GB model. For consumers in Malaysia, you will need to wait a little longer. Maybe by the end of this month or early November. 🙂
To recap, the successor to the original 2012 edition of Galaxy Note 10.1 features a 10.1-inch WQXGA Super Clear LCD display with resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The tablet is powered by 1.9 GHz and 1.3 GHz quad core processor for WiFi/3G model, while LTE model has a 2.3 GHz quad core processor. There is a 3GB of RAM with built-in storage options of 16 or 32GB. The storage is expandable via microSD card, up to 64GB.
The new Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and its S Pen stylus has all the new features found in the Galaxy Note 3. Other features include a 8MP rear camera with 1080p full HD video, a 2MP front-facing camera and a 8,220mAh battery. The tablet comes with two flavors – Classic White or Jet Black.
