After the launch of non-LTE version of Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 model in Malaysia at the end of April, Samsung Malaysia is on its way to bring the LTE version of the Korean company’s Android flagship smartphone to our shores.
Thus far, Maxis is the first telco to put up a Galaxy S4 4G LTE teaser image on its official website a few days back. The telco provides no details on the device pricing and availability. Other telcos including Celcom, DiGi and U Mobile are still silent on Samsung Galaxy S4 4G LTE.
Well, forget about the telcos because Senheng has got the details on the device. Our local consumer electrical and electronic chain store has listed Samsung Galaxy S4 4G LTE on its online shopping store. Good job!
In the product page, the LTE version of Samsung Galaxy S4 is priced at RM 2,499. It costs RM 300 more than the non-LTE version. However, the LTE model has twice the size of internal storage at 32GB as opposed to 16GB in non-LTE model. As for availability, the stocks are estimated to arrive after June 19 and would be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE has very much the same specification as the non-LTE model except for the 4G LTE connectivity and different processors used. The LTE model runs on 1.9 GHz quad-core processor, while non-LTE model uses 1.6 GHz octa-core processor.
