Samsung Electronics has announced the availability of the Galaxy Note 10.1, with three connectivity options : WiFi-only and WiFi-and-3G HSPA-Plus connectivity, which are both available at launch later this month, and WiFi-and-LTE which will be available later this year.
The Galaxy Note 10.1, which was first revealed at Mobile World Congress in February, is an evolution of the very first 5.3-inch Galaxy Note. It is equipped with 6.5 mm S Pen stylus.
The 10.1-inch tablet has a resolution of 1280×800 pixels and sports hardware features such as a 1.4-GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.9 megapixel front-facing VT camera and 7,000-mAh battery. As for storage options, users have choices of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB. The storage can be expanded with microSD card, with up to 64GB of additional space. Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Jelly Bean, anyone?

The video showcases some of the key features and capabilities such as multiscreen feature for side-by-side multitasking, unique S Pen with a variety of S Note templates and productive tools (Shape Match and Formula Match) for note taking and sketching, Samsung Learning Hub for accessing educational curricula and professional photo editing with Photoshop Touch.
Several other features from Galaxy S III, have been added to the Galaxy Note 10.1, including Smart Stay, at which the screen maintains a bright display as long as you’re looking at it, and Pop Up Play, which allows a video to be watched anywhere on the screen while simultaneously running other tasks. Meanwhile AllShare Play and AllShare Group Cast are meant for content sharing .
According to PCWorld, the Galaxy Note 10.1 will first become available in South Korea, Germany, the U.S., and the U.K., and then gradually roll out to other markets starting later this month.
