The first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich powered smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus is coming to Malaysia this coming Friday, January 13!
Want to be the first to own the Galaxy Nexus? Try DiGi Store Online. DiGi Malaysia is now accepting pre-orders online yesterday for the Galaxy Nexus at its online store at price starting from RM 1,399. (RRP RM 2,099). The smartphone will be delivered to your doorstep from 13 January 2012 onward.
To recap, Samsung Galaxy Nexus is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor, sports a huge 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen display, packs with 32GB internal memory and 1GB of RAM. However, there is no microSD card slot for additional memory. Other features include 5-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling.
DiGi Malaysia offers 2 broadband plans for Galaxy Nexus – DG Smart Plan 48 and DG Smart Plan 68. The smartphone pricing varies depending on the broadband plan and the contract duration that you prefer (12 or 24 months). The pricing is as follows :
- DG Smart Plan 48 (12 months) – RM1,749 (save RM 350)
- DG Smart Plan 48 (24 months) – RM1,549 (save RM 550)
- DG Smart Plan 68 (12 months) – RM1,649 (save RM 450)
- DG Smart Plan 68 (24 months) – RM1,399 (save RM 700)
If you opt for auto-billing, you can get RM 5 rebate/month, which translates to RM 60 of savings in 1 year and over 2 years, it’s RM 120. And if you subscribe to DG Smart Plan 68 under the 24-month contract, you can enjoy savings of another RM 360 or a total of RM 480 (inclusive of auto-billing rebate).
