We’ve seen the leaked press photo and some of the specs details (courtesy of EVLeaks) of the next-generation Google Nexus phone, dubbed LG Nexus 4. Now, it is confirmed that the Nexus 4 is set to be unveiled at the Google’s Android Event on next Monday, October 29.
According to LG Mobile Product Planning head Amit Gujral, “Google will unveil the LG Nexus on October 29 and the phone will be available in the Indian markets by the end of November”. In addition to that, he mentioned that the new Nexus phone will sport a 4.7-inch screen display and a 1.5-GHz quad-core processor.
Moreover, LG Nexus 4 will run the latest version of Android operating system aka Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. In Android 4.2, there will be a brand new Gmail, a quick settings panel, a revised gallery application and multiple accounts for tablets.
Other unconfirmed specs include 2GB of RAM, 8GB or 16GB of internal storage, 8MP of rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera and a 2,100mAh battery. The phone is rumored to weigh at 139g with 9.1mm thickness.
