The other day we were talking about the HTC Edge – rumoured to be the first smartphone to feature a quad-core processor. Today, we learnt that HTC is working on another quad-core smartphone codenamed the Zeta.
The HTC Zeta has a much faster processor than the HTC Edge, it sports a 2.5GHz APQ8064 processor on a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen display, has a 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory storage.
In the camera department, Zeta features an 8 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash with support for 1080p video capturing. On its front, is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calling. Other features include an 1,830Ah battery, Beats Audio (of course!), Bluetooth 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed with most probably the Sense UI version 4.0.
Pricing and availability remain unknown. Could we see this smartphone to make official appearance in MWC 2012? Hopefully. 🙂 Thanks, Engadget!
