To recap on the specs, the Desire 500 sports a 4.3-inch WVGA screen display with 480×800 resolution. The device is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB worth of internal storage memory. The storage is expandable up to 64GB via microSD memory card slot.
There is a 8MP rear camera with HTC ImageChip and 1.6MP camera on its front. There is a feature called Video Highlights, which collates your images into a 30-second themed video reel.
Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio and battery capacity of 1,800mAh. The smartphone runs Android 4.2 with HTC Sense 5 overlay and features BlinkFeed too.
Desire 500 is available in three colors : Black, Glacier Blue and Passion Red. For local market, all colors are available except Black.
