Last month, we did mention that HTC won’t be bringing its 5-inch 1080p full HD Butterfly smartphone to Malaysia. Well, look like HTC Malaysia has changed their mind and decided to bring the HTC Butterfly to our market. Hooray! 🙂
HTC Malaysia teases about the smartphone on its Facebook page, without giving the details on launch date and pricing. However, it is almost certain that the HTC Butterfly will hit Malaysia anytime soon.
HTC Malaysia even took the trouble to notify us about the availability of HTC Butterfly to the question that we’ve posted on HTC Malaysia’s Facebook page some time ago.
To recap on the specs, HTC Butterfly sports a 5-inch super LCD 3 HD display with 1,920 x 1080 resolution (440PPI) and is protected by scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 SoC with a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. In addition to that, it has 2GB of RAM, internal storage size of 16GB, expandable via microSD card and is packed with a 2,020 mAh battery.
Other notable features include 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 2.1MP front facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Beats Audio and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
