Yes, you hear it right, the international version of Japan-only J Butterfly is now available in Malaysia! The Android Jelly Bean smartphone, otherwise known as HTC Butterfly comes with a price tag of RM 2,299 apiece.
Interested users can visit the nearest Cubic Platforms HTC Concept Store to test drive the first 5-inch HD smartphone from the Taiwanese company.
To recap on the specs, HTC Butterfly sports a 5-inch super LCD 3 HD display with 1,920 x 1080 resolution (440PPI) and is protected by scratch resistant Corning Gorilla Glass 2. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 SoC with a quad-core 1.5GHz Krait CPU and Adreno 320 GPU. In addition to that, it has 2GB of RAM, internal storage size of 16GB, expandable via microSD card and is packed with a 2,020 mAh battery.
Other notable features include 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 2.1MP front facing camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Beats Audio and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
According to Cubic Platforms on their Facebook page, the HTC Butterfly does not support 4G LTE and NFC.
