The HTC Bliss is the next upcoming Android smartphone from the Taiwanese smartphone maker, targeted to female users. The female-oriented Android smartphone is expected to be announced (unconfirmed) at the end of this year.
As for the hardware specs, the HCT Bliss is powered with a single core 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7630 processor and an Adreno 205 GPU for the graphics. The smartphone feature a front-facing camera for video calling and appears to feature a 3.7-inch WVGA screen. Other details like RAM and internal storage space are yet to be known. The smartphone runs on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread OS with the new HTC Sense 3.5 overlay. We will touch on the new Sense UI in our next post.
The pictures below show the HTC Bliss in real life.
Moreover, the smartphone will come in various color schemes and also a set of accessories include : a wireless charging dock with built-in speakers, a square-shaped speaker that supports voice recognition, as well as a ‘charm indicator’.
The ‘charm indicator’ lights up every time the user receives a message or misses a call, much like a notification LED.
In addition, the phone will be manufactured from a special rubberized plastic to give women a better grip over the phone.
For further details about the HTC Bliss, guess we need to wait for the HTC’s September 1 event in London. Thanks, PocketNow and Softpedia!
