As we all already knew, HTC has unwrapped its latest flagship Android smartphone – the HTC One X+ alongside with two Windows Phone 8 devices – the HTC 8X and 8S, in a regional event in Singapore yesterday. Now, let’s find out the pricing and availability for all the three phones. Read on.
HTC One X+
HTC One X+ is the updated version of the One X. The newer One X+ has more speed (aka faster processor), 2x more storage and 30% more battery life as compared to HTC One X.
As for the spec sheet, the smartphone sports a 4.7-inch super LCD 2 touch screen display with HD 720p resolution fronted with a protective layer of the Gorilla Glass 2. The Android smartphone is powered by a Tegra 3 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, with a 64GB-worth of internal memory and 1GB of RAM.
Other features include 8MP rear camera, 1.6MP front-facing camera, NFC and a 2100 mAh Li-ion battery. The phone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with the new HTC Sense 4+ overlay. However, One X+ has no LTE support.

Pricing and Availability : HTC One X+ will retail in Singapore for S$868 (US$697.41 or approx. RM2164) from late-November. The phone will available in all South Asian countries as well.
Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC
Windows Phone 8X and 8S are the Taiwanese smartphone maker’s first signature smartphones to run Windows Phone 8 operating system. The smartphones boast iconic design, studio-quality sound with Beats Audio and incredible camera capabilities.
Hardwase-wise, the 8X phone features a 4.3-inch HD super LCD 2 screen display protected by Gorilla Glass 2. It is powered by a 1.5-GHz Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB worth of internal storage.

Moving to to camera department. The rear camera has an an 8MP CMOS sensor with backside-illumination (BSI) for improved low-light performance, along with an f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens and a dedicated imaging chip. On its front, the phone gets a 2.1MP, f/2.0 aperture, 88° ultra-wide angle front-facing camera that allows up to four people and more to be captured at once. It also supports 1080p video capture.
Meanwhile, the smaller 8S phone boasts a bright super LCD 4-inch WGVA screen with Gorilla Glass, is powered by the same processor as 8X but at 1.0-GHz. It sports 512MB of RAM with internal storage of 4GB, expandable by microSD card. It has 5MP rear camera with auto-focus, f/2.8 aperture and 28mm lens. No front facing camera though.
Pricing and Availability : Both Windows Phone 8X and 8S by HTC will debut late this month and mid-December for the price of S$828 (US$665.27 or approx. RM2064) and S$418 (US$335.85 or approx. RM 1042), respectively. Both handsets will be available in all South Asian countries as well. According to soyacincau, 8X could be selling for cheaper price of RM 1799.
