Google has started pushing its latest Google Play Store app update to Android devices. The latest version 3.10.9 brings several minor enhancements to Google Play Store app. Nevertheless, read on to find out what’s new. And if you can’t wait for the update to arrive on your device, you can download the APK file here, courtesy of @WinDroidGuy.
The most notable enhancement must be the new installation screen. The new screen pops up every time you install a new app from Google Play. No, this time you won’t be taken back to the app page to see the download progress. In the new screen, you shall notice a list of similar apps that other users installed and might interest you. It’s under the “Users Also Installed” section. Tap on Keep Shopping to get back to the app’s page.
In addition to that, Google also enhances the Wishlist feature (introduced in version 3.9.16). The feature allows you to bookmark apps for later viewing but lacks the ability to remove the bookmarks. So in this update, you shall notice a new Remove button to delete any bookmark with just a tap.
Also, there is a new Translate button, which enables you to translate and read the app description in your native language.
And you should an Improve these recommendations button at the top of Recommended for You page. It enables you to add friends or people to your Google Plus circles. By doing this, Google can somehow improve the recommended apps for you. We’re not too sure about this, but it should works that way. 🙂
