Google’s Nexus 7 tablet set of accessories were spotted online a few months back. There are a docking station and also a premium cover case for the tablet.
Now, the docking station has finally made its appearance, at least to consumers in Japan. The details on the docking station is available at ASUS Japan’s website.
The Japanese will be the first nation to get the docking station for their Nexus 7 tablet. It starts shipping in early December for a price of 3,480 yen apiece. That’s around USD$42 or RM128 in Malaysia money.
The docking station allows you to place your Nexus 7 tablet in landscape mode leaning backwards for better viewing. In addition to that, the dock has charging capability. It also comes with a micro USB port and a 3.5mm headset jack. No HDMI port though.
There is no word regarding international availability. Hopefully the docking station can reach here in time for Christmas. Now, who wants to get this docking station? Put up your hands please. 🙂
