Google Maps for Android app has been updated to version 5.4 with several new features including search history viewing, enhanced details for businesses and also the ability to report incorrect/missing details on the map.
The first new feature comes in handy for users who run Google Maps on several devices such as your laptop, computer and mobile device. With the latest update, all your Google Map search results will be stored in your Google account, under the Google Web History. Every time you switch devices, you can access the search history to get back to what’s you have left from the previous device.
Besides that, you can learn additional details on the businesses that you’ve found in Google Maps, by simply tap on the particular business. Also, now you can report to Google if you find incorrect or missing information in Google Maps such as missing address or place, that isn’t there in the map.
Google Maps for Android is available as free download for Android device, via Android Market.
