As expected, ASUS has unveiled the updated version of its Padfone Infinity smartphone and tablet combo today.
Simply known as the new Padfone Infinity, the device gets a new processor – a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 clocked at 2.2 Ghz. There is now a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 64GB. However, the built-in storage options have been lowered to 16GB and 32 GB (previously 32GB and 64GB).
Other than that, Padfone Infinity’s 13MP rear camera gets a new PixelMaster feature, which combines multiple pixels to form a smaller but sharper and cleaner 3-megapixel image. The device runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
