ASUS built the original Nexus 7 for Google last year. The partnership with search engine giant continues this year with the release of Nexus 7 refresh last month. And we heard that the relationship between them is getting stronger as the Taiwanese company got the green light to manufacture the new Nexus 10 tablet.
The original Nexus 10 tablet, which was built by Samsung, made its debut last year and it is the largest device to carry the Nexus branding. The tablet features a 10-inch screen display with 2560 x 1600 resolution (300 ppi) and is powered by a dual-core, Cortex A15-based 1.7 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 CPU.
Here’s the retail leak to confirm the news. It shows a Google Nexus 10 16GB WiFi manufactured by ASUS.
So what to expect from the upcoming Nexus 10 refresh? A new Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, premium and quality design, Android 4.3 and a more competitively priced tablet. The new Nexus 10 is expected to goes on sale just in time for the holiday season at the end of the year.
