ASUS’s MeMO Pad family of affordable Android tablets is getting bigger and bigger with the latest addition of two new models. Everyone, let’s welcome ASUS MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10. Both tablets made their debut at IFA 2013 in Berlin on September 4.
MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10 both feature an LED-backlit IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, microSD card slot for additional storage and dual-speakers with ASUS SonicMaster audio technology.
The 8-inch MeMO Pad 8 (ME180A) has 16GB of internal memory. It is measures just 127mm from side to side and weighs only 350g. The tablet features a 5MP rear camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. The battery can lasts MeMO Pad 8 up to 9 hours.
On the other hand, MeMO Pad 10 (ME102A) has two choices of internal storage – 8GB or 16GB. The tablet weighs 522g. It sports a 2MP rear camera, a 1.2MP front-facing camera and battery life of up to 9.5 hours.
Both models have an optional protective TriCover case made from synthetic materials that protects both the tablet back and screen. Available in three colors, the TriCover has a folding cover that props up the screen at an angle for on-screen typing and watching video.
