Google Nexus 7 - Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update

Google has silently released a minor update to Nexus 7 tablet. The update is delivered over-the-air (OTA) and takes the Android OS to Jelly Bean version 4.1.2.

Google Nexus 7 - Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Update

The most notable changes of all must be the ability to set home screen to landscape mode. Previously, the home screen is only available in portrait orientation. In addition to that, the update also contains a handful of bug fixes and a boost in performance.

The update file is 31 MB in size and should reach other Android Jelly Bean devices soon, including the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S and Motorola XOOM.
