HTC officially launched the CHANGE campaign – the company’s latest global rebranding effort to raise awareness among consumers towards the Taiwanese mobile phone maker. HTC has signed Robert Downey Jr. on a two-year contract to kick off a series of commercial revolving the #HTChange hashtag. The commercial will be rolled out in three phases.
Ben Ho, CMO of HTC said, “With this campaign, we are affirming what HTC’s role is in the mobile market which is to define change and to lead the industry in developing the newest and most innovative technologies.”
The first phase of the CHANGE campaign is already here. It features the playful side of HTC, as shown in the 2 minute commercial on Youtube with Robert Downey Jr., and his fellow actors playing around with the HTC initials.

“Hipster Troll Carwash,” “Hot Tea Catapult,” “Humongous Tinfoil Catamaran,” “Hold This Cat” and “Happy Telephone Company” are the text combinations mentioned in the commercial. So what does HTC means to you?
By the way, you might want to try the HTC Generator. It generates hysterical text combinations for the HTC initials.
P.S. : HTC was formerly known as High Tech Computer.
