Chinese mobile phone maker, Huawei has officially announced its first high-end Android smartphone, called Huawei Honor. The smartphone will be on sale in China, Russia, the Middle East and markets in Asia-Pacific in the Q4 2011. No details on the pricing yet. Read on for more details.
On the hardware specification, Huawei Honor is powered by 1.4 GHz processor with a 4-inch FWVGA screen display, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage that can be expandable with a memory card (up to 32GB). Besides, Honor device sports a 8-megapixel rear camera (with HDR capabilities), a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling and is powered by a 1,900 mAh battery. With a high-capacity battery, you can run Huawei Honor for up to 3 days on a single charge. Yes, Honor is very impressive on the battery life! 🙂
On the software side, Huawei Honor runs the latest Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS with an exclusive Huawei user interface, as well as a dynamic weather widget. On top of that, Honor measures in a sleek 10.9 mm-thin body and weighs just 140g.
As for the colour variants, Honor smartphone will first ship in the “Classic Black“, with more colours to follow, sometime closer to the Christmas holidays.
