The OS update from Android 2.2 Froyo to Android 2.3 Gingerbread is available as over-the-air (OTA). Simply head over to Settings -> About Phone -> System Software Updates to grab this latest update to Android and HTC Sense. For Desire HD, firmware version should be updated to 2.36.405.5.
