ASUS ZenFone 4 launched in Malaysia for RM 299, ZenFone 5 and 6 coming soon1 min read

ASUS Malaysia has last week launched one of the three much-anticipated budget-friendly ZenFone smartphones for local market. The first ZenFone to arrive here is ZenFone 4, with affordable price tag of RM 299. The other two members of ZenFone family – the ZenFone 5 (RM 599) and 6 (RM 899) will reach our shore soon. 🙂

ASUS ZenFone 4

ZenFone 4 features a 4-inch WVGA screen display with 800 x 480 resolution and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Intel Hyper Threading Technology. The memory stands at 1GB with 8GB built-in storage size. The storage is expandable up to 64GB with a microSD card. There is 5GB free lifetime ASUS WebStorage.

Other features include a 5MP rear camera with auto-focus and 1080p video recording, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, dual SIM support and 1,200 mAh battery. ZenFone 4 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat) with ZenUI overlay. As for color options, the device is available in Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, Sky Blue and Solar Yellow.

P.S. : We will post update on the availability of ZenFone 5 and 6 when we get the tip from ASUS Malaysia.
