Traffic and Earning Growth
Last year, we have seen a healthy and significant growths in this blog in term of both traffic and money earned from blogging. My Tech Quest kick started the year 2010 with 64,516 unique visitors and 96,785 page views.
On the last month of 2010, the site ended the year with a bang with 223,932 unique visitors (+347%) and 317,985 page views (+328%)!
Below is the traffic graph for last year. The traffic figures were static from January to September. We started to see traffic surge in the last three months of the year.
As for earning, January 2010 has recorded USD$399.87 in total money made (nothing to be proud of). But guess what, the figure has increased 500% to approximately USD$2k for December 2010. With this figure, I’ve break the $1000 mark, which was also my goal for 2010. Yahoo, I’ve become a four-figure blogger! 🙂

Goals for 2011
For this year, I want to see more growth in My Tech Quest.
- Traffic : I want to see this blog to hit 500,000 page views per month. Of course, the more the better. If possible, I want this blog to grow to 1 million page views. But let’s be realistic. 500k is a more archive-able figure. 🙂
- Number of Posts : This year, I want to make a commitment of writing at least 30 articles every month. Last year, my blogging activity was not consistent. I wrote only 15 posts on February, then tripling the figure to 52 articles the following month.
- Money Earned Online : I want to make $3000 from blogging in a month. That’s triple the money I make from my daily job. 🙂
