The Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is going to be announced during the Google I/O 2012 conference, that’s for sure. Besides that, we could also see the arrival of the new Google Nexus-tablet. It’s called the Nexus 7, in case you are wondering.
According to Gizmodo Australia (who got their hands on leaked document of Nexus 7), the tablet is said to be manufactured by ASUS. It features a 7-inch IPS screen display (1280 x 800 pixels) with a 178-degree viewing angle. The tablet runs a 1.3Ghz quad-core Tegra 3 processor with GeForce 12-core GPU and 1GB of RAM. It is available in two different internal storage variants: 8GB and 16GB.
Some other features include NFC connectivity, Android Beam, a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera and 9-hour of battery life. Sorry, there’s no rear camera. The tablet will be the first device to run the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
As for the pricing, the 8GB and 16GB models will cost $199 and $249 respectively. The tablet could hit the stores as early as July.
