Mobile lovers shall expect a handful of smartphones to be unveiled in the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2013 (MWC 2013), which is scheduled to take place from 25 to 28 February 2013 in Barcelona, Spain.
For fans of HTC, the Taiwanese smartphone maker is set to unveil its latest flagship Android phone – the HTC One (formerly known as HTC M7) ahead of MWC 2013 on February 19 in a press event in New York.
Wonder how the smartphone shall look like? EVLeaks has uploaded the press shot photo of the HTC One on its Twitter account just a while ago. Based on EVLeaks’ track record of leaking legit press shot of several smartphones like ASUS Padfone 2 and Nexus 4 ahead of launch, it’s almost certain that the photo below is the next flagship phone for HTC.
From the leaked press shot, the HTC One sports a strange capacitive button layout. The HTC logo (usually placed at the top of the phone) takes the place of the home button at the center, while the latter is now resides on the right. The edges of the phone could be metallic or chrome.
HTC One is rumoured as a 4.7-inch 1080p full HD Android smartphone with “SoLux” screen at 468ppi The SoLux display is said to boost viewing angles, outdoor visibility, and color accuracy.
In addition to that, the LTE-ready smartphone is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. It is equipped with a 13MP rear shooter with f/2.0 and 2MP front facing camera. Both cameras are capable of shooting 1080p video. HTC One runs on Android Jelly Bean with Sense 5 overlay.
