Google’s first venture in 10-inch tablet is now here! Introducing the Nexus 10 tablet, jointly developed by Google and Samsung. The tablet could be a potential competitor to Apple’s iPad.
The Samsung-built Nexus 10 features a 10-inch screen display with 2560 x 1600 resolution (300 ppi). With such high resolution, the Nexus 10 is the world’s highest resolution tablet. The tablet is measured at thickness of just 8.9 mm and weighing just 603 grams.
In addition to that, the tablet is powered by a dual-core, Cortex A15-based 1.7 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 CPU. It has 2GB of RAM with two choices of internal storage – 16GB or 32 GB. It comes with a powerful battery that will get you up to nine hours of video playback and more than 500 hours of standby time.
Other features include 5MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, advanced MIMO Wifi (4 times faster browsing speed than normal Wifi), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
In Android 4.2, there is an improved Google Now, updated Google Earth (optimized for Retina-alike display) and you can add multiple users and switch between them instantly right from the lockscreen.
