ASUS Malaysia has announced on its Facebook page that the long-awaited Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update is now available via FOTA (firware over-the-air) to ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T. The update is available since Friday, March 8.

We are pleased to inform the release Android 4.2 for ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T via FOTA starting from today onward.
This new version of Android enhances performance and stability, as well as provide multiple user account logins along with other functions that improve the user experience. ASUS is committed to providing the best customer experience, and is the first manufacturer to receive Android 4.2.
With this, the ASUS Transformer Pad is now the first non-Nexus device to receive the latest Android OS firmware update. Hope that it will not take long for the same Android 4.2 update to arrive to other Android devices from manufacturers like Samsung, LG, Sony and HTC.
