The Google I/O 2012 conference is ready to kickoff tomorrow for a duration of three days, from June 27 to 29 in San Francisco, USA. In the conference, Google is expected to announce the arrival of the new Android OS, code named “Jelly Bean“. It carries version 4.1.
We know absolutely nothing on the new features that the new OS will bring to Android users. But this leaked image below could help shed some lights. If the image is to be believed (courtesy of Loranz Yousif, who posted on his Google+ page), then Android users could see a revamped Google Play store on Jelly Bean.
The redesign sees the return of the featured apps carousel, which was once a key feature on Android Market before it was re-branded as Google Play. There are new tabs at the bottom of the app that provides quick access to other sections of the store, such as movies, music and books.
Now, are you excited with the redesign of Google Play Store? Better not. Because the image is just a mock-up. Gotcha!
